Janitor AI

Connect LiteRouter to Janitor AI as a proxy.

Setup

  1. Open any chat, then click hamburger menu (☰) at the top-right corner.
  2. Select API Settings, then open Proxy tab.
  3. Click Add Configuration.
  4. Configuration Name: anything, e.g. LiteRouter.
  5. Model Name: pick a model id here, for example deepseek-v3.2:free.
  6. Proxy URL: https://api.literouter.com/v1/chat/completions
  7. API Key: your LiteRouter API key.
  8. Click Save.

After saving, refresh the chat page for it to work.

Troubleshooting

The pgshag2 error

The provider returned nothing, usually a content filter, most often on Gemini. The request costs nothing.

Replies cut off mid-sentence

  • Content filter (most likely). Gemini stops partway when something trips it, and it reads everything you send: the chat, the character, your persona, your custom prompt, and lorebooks. Reword it, switch bots, or switch models.
  • Your connection. A slow or dropped connection cuts the reply short.
  • Display limit. Janitor AI shows a reply up to a set length. Past that it looks cut off even though the model finished.

The non ISO-8859-1 code point error

Your API key has a hidden character in it, usually a curly quote or an invisible space picked up from Word, Notion, or Google Docs. The browser refuses to send it, so nothing reaches LiteRouter.

Retype the key by hand in API Settings, or paste it through a plain text editor first.
